On 2 March 2023, an interesting and extraordinary business meeting took place at the newly opened “NIO Haus” in Berlin, Kürfürstendamm 11, in a prime city centre location. In a casual, informal atmosphere, there was ample opportunity to admire the latest e-vehicles and to have them explained by expert staff. In addition, the interior design of the building was very well received by the invited guests, about 30 entrepreneurs, who were fascinated by the vehicles as well as the specially designed rooms on three levels. In addition to minimally designed meeting and lecture rooms, visitors will find chilled-out seating areas that invite them to linger spontaneously. All rooms are also characterised by very pleasant light and colour design, which immediately increases the feel-good factor, “Fengshui”, as we casually learned during the house tour.

The focus of the event was the presentation by Mr. Harry Rogasch, who, as Director Public Affairs & Governmental Relations Europe of NIO GmbH, first warmly welcomed the guests. This was followed by an entertaining company presentation as well as an ambitious outlook and current European work status on the NIO premium electric vehicles & the NIO battery charging systems, which are also to help shape the cityscape of Berlin in the coming years, with subsequent discussion.

The evening will be wonderfully framed by a musical programme of two female artists who will create a bit of wanderlust in one or the other of the guests with traditional sounds on old Chinese musical instruments. Over Chinese finger food and a glass of wine, one or two informal conversations are held and the informative, pleasant evening slowly draws to a close. NIO knows how to enchant.
