On 07.04.2022, an extremely inspiring event on the topic of the future of autonomous driving took place at the Berlin Capital Club as part of the „Maren Courage Digital Talks“ series. At the business breakfast, which was hosted by the VR Business Club as the largest dialogue and matchmaking platform on the topic of virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality in Germany, the guest of honour was Mr. Stefan Jenzowsky, entrepreneur and technology expert as well as CEO of the German start-up Kopernikus Automotive, who spoke about the possibilities of having cars drive autonomously using AI and cameras in buildings (multi-storey car parks, production or logistics facilities).
Following the talk and the joint breakfast, the experts present from Schenker Technologies and iShowroom presented the latest VR and AR experiences with practical demonstrations that conveyed a very special sensual and „reality-identical“ experience. Wow!
DRC has been on friendly terms with the VR Business Club for about 6 years. Since 2022, DRC has also officially joined the club as a member in order to specifically promote industrial applications of VR/AR and to jointly advance standardized series applications in medium-sized companies in the German automotive industry.
The event was organized by the Xi’an Municipal People’s Government in Frankfurt under the theme „New starting point of the Silk Road, new path of Chinese-European cooperation“. The focus of the event was on the automotive and rail transport industry from Xi’an and opportunities for potential networking with German partners. Prof. Ringshausen, in his role as Chairman of the Board of the proITCar Wirtschaftsverband e.V., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a solemn ceremony as an expression of mutual economic cooperation interest. Dr. Ringshausen also gave an entertaining presentation on the special current challenges of establishing an intercultural management style in German-Chinese managed companies. He explained that it is now time to professionalize operational human resource management with the help of aptitude diagnostic measurement methods and cultural development initiatives.
In Germany in particular, social individualism has reached an unprecedented peak and requires a further development of management intelligence that is intelligent in terms of business psychology. In recent years, all areas of the company have been led to greater productivity and excellence through digitalization, streamlined corporate processes and lean management concepts. Now the topic of personnel management has finally come under scrutiny in order to increase the attractiveness of leadership tasks again, especially for young people, and to further professionalize corporate management under increasingly complex market conditions.
